Summary

The University of Chichester provides social work awards in partnership with West Sussex Children and Adult Services and other partners from the voluntary, independent and private sector organisations.

Practice is seen as central to the programme as an experiential base for learning, supported by a rigorous tutorial system, designed to help students integrate academic learning with their experience in social work and social care. As a result we have an excellent record in providing students with high quality, relevant practice placements.

Overview
The University of Chichester is situated in the beautiful county of West Sussex. Our heritage dates back to the 19th Century, when Bishop Otter College was established in 1839. Previously a teaching college, Chichester became a University in 2005.
