Course Overview

  • Let's work on more than numbers. Let's work on building economies.

  • Accounting graduates are needed in a multitude of industries, wherever there is money involved, and we offer an exciting selection of degrees in this area; whether you want to become a Chartered Accountant, or work in a related field.

  • Our programmes offer a solid foundation to enter into the accounting profession. For those wishing to become Chartered Accountants, our BA (Hons) Accounting and Finance degree has accreditation from a number of prestigious professional bodies, including the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales (ICAEW), the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants (CIMA) and the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA). For those interested in working within a related field, we offer our highly regarded Accounting and Financial Studies degree, without the need to take formal body examinations.

  • You’ll develop your intellectual capacity and analytical skills, enabling you to work in audit, tax and accountancy businesses as well as in financial functions within other organisations.

  • We also offer a range of postgraduate programmes to qualify as a Chartered Accountant, which is ideal for those who are already working within the field but who would like to top up their skills and knowledge to master’s level.

Why choose us?

  • Our association with world-leading software provider, SAP, means that we are one of the few UK universities accredited to deliver training based on this leading resource planning package. The SAP room has been specially equipped to teach this technology within a range of undergraduate and postgraduate courses.

  • Countless opportunities to gain practical experience through optional paid 48-week work placements, shorter-term internships and work experience opportunities and live student projects.

  • Opportunities to study overseas for at least one semester. In recent years, students on courses have studied at Central Connecticut State University and the University of Western Sydney.
