Upon completion of this course, you will be able to apply for exemptions from a number of professional exams. Our course is accredited by CIMA and includes 11 exemptions from the CIMA qualification, while you will also be able to apply for the CIMA Gateway examination.
UCB's Financial Trading Suite is one of the largest among all UK universities and will provide you with practical training opportunities to support your studies. Featuring 21 workstations, two large wall screens and a scrolling ticker providing real-time global market information, it is also the first university trading suite in the country to be powered by Infront Professional Terminal.
What skills will I gain?
You will develop the ability to deal with finance and accounting challenges within a range of organisations and learn how to make strong decisions within the modern day financial environment.
You will be exposed to the latest technology and become familiar with the latest digital tools used in the industry.
Through your final project, you will gain in-depth knowledge of a subject relevant to your chosen career, as well as developing and demonstrating your ability to conduct high-level research.
