Summary

Telemedicine uses information and communication technology to deliver healthcare services remotely. It is a priority area for the international healthcare sector and is attracting global investment. This programme allows students to engage with cutting edge clinical knowledge taught by leading experts using the most advanced technology in the field.

Students will be introduced to health informatics in the context of eHealth and telemedicine systems along with the global health challenge of eye disease for patient care, supported by specialist modules in diagnostic imaging for ocular diseases.

Students undertake modules to the value of 60 credits comprising four compulsory modules (15 credits each).

Upon successful completion of 60 credits, you will be awarded a PG Cert in Telemedicine for Ophthalmology.
