The programme will enable you to make evidence based assessments to facilitate clinical decision-making. It will serve to enhance your level of professional confidence and leadership skills through individual study, group project work, teamwork and organisational activities. This in turn may enhance job opportunities and satisfaction or equip you to consider alternate employment settings such as allied healthcare leadership or teaching posts.
Students take modules to the value of 60 credits for each year of study totalling 180 credits for the three years..
The programme consists of eight core modules (120 credits) and a dissertation (60 credits). All modules are compulsory.
Upon successful completion of 180 credits, you will be awarded a MSc in Dental Hygiene.
