University of EdinburghThe University of Edinburgh is holding a Virtual Open Day on Wednesday 29th September 2021.

This mini online open day provides the perfect introduction to postgraduate study at the University of Edinburgh and is suitable for those considering on-campus or online postgraduate study.

The schedule of the event is as follows:

  • 8-9am – Introduction to the Virtual Visit (pre-recorded) - demonstrating how to use the Virtual Visit application, live Q&A
  • 9.30-11am – How to make an effective Postgraduate Application
  • 11am-12pm – Choosing a Research Degree
  • 11am-12pm – College of Medicine & Veterinary Medicine Postgraduate Admissions text chat Q&A.
  • 12-12.30pm – How to get active at Edinburgh (led by our Centre for Sport & Exercise)
  • 12-1.30pm – Introduction to the University of Edinburgh (this is a regularly hosted introduction to Edinburgh, our degree structure, and student life for those interested in both postgraduate and undergraduate courses)
  • 1- 2pm – Postgraduate Accommodation
  • 1-2pm – Top 5 reasons to study an online masters at Edinburgh
  • 2-3pm – Introduction to Postgraduate Student Life (Edinburgh University Students' Association)
  • Pre-recorded video that you can watch at any time between 9am-5pm supporting students who use British Sign Language

 

In addition to the live sessions you can visit the exhibition booths for Academic Schools and Student Support Services where you can watch videos and download PDFs of academic course information.

All sessions are booked individually, so you can pick and choose those that are of interest.
