London Met UniversityLondon Metropolitan University is holding an online lecture in ‘Safeguarding, Vulnerability & Risk’ as part of its Empowering London lecture series on Wednesday 28th April 2021, from 3pm BST.

This online lecture is a great way to experience postgraduate study at London Met. Dr Robin West – course leader for London Met’s MA in Safeguarding and Security – will deliver this taster lecture exploring safeguarding, vulnerability and risk.

Dr West will explore what it means to define “vulnerability” and the “vulnerable person”, as well as consider some of the challenges faced by policy makers and civil society through a case study of child migrants.

The taster lecture will begin at 3pm, after which there will be the opportunity to ask questions and participate in a group discussion.
