University of BirminghamThe University of Birmingham is holding a virtual open day to showcase its Physician Associate Studies Diploma on Monday 30th January 2017 from 2pm.

This purpose of this postgraduate virtual open day is to inform prospective postgraduate students about the University of Birmingham’s Physician Associate Studies Diploma (formerly known as Physician Assistant).

Kirsten Gipson (Admissions Lead and Obstetrics and Gynaecology Lead for the Physician Associate program) will be available for the Live Q&A between 2-3pm to answer your questions about this postgraduate program.

Physician Associate is a rapidly growing healthcare role in the UK, working alongside doctors in hospitals and in GP surgeries. Physician Associates are trained to perform a number of roles including: taking medical histories, performing examinations, analysing test results, and diagnosing illnesses under the direct supervision of a doctor.
