Royal College of Art #Refashioning the Internet: Research Seminar 19 March 2019
March 19, 2019
The Royal College of Art is hosting #Refashioning the Internet: Research Seminar on Tuesday 19th March 2019.
This event will look at how the ubiquitous internet and media have challenged fashion expressions and creativities.
How do we re-fashion the internet’s influence on us critically and creatively? And what can we learn by thinking through China, as a case study? Carrie Chan (Design Trust / RCA Fellow in Design Curation), and Marie Genevieve Cyr (Assistant Professor of Fashion Design at Parsons School of Design) explore these questions and more, in a seminar moderated by design historian Sarah Cheang (Senior Tutor, Royal College of Art).
