University of Strathclyde has excellent PG scholarship & funding opportunities
The Faculty for Humanities & Social Sciences at the University of Strathclyde has a number of excellent postgraduate scholarship and funding opportunities available for PG students starting in the academic year 2021/22.
Law Postgraduate Community Bursary: This is a £700 tuition fee reduction for applicants to the LLM Criminal Justice & Penal Change, LLM Human Rights Law and LLM Mediation and Conflict Resolution degree courses. To be eligible to apply for this funding opportunity applicants must be working in a paid or voluntary role at one of Strathclyde’s community partner organisations and be available to start their studies in the UK by the start of the academic year in September 2021. They must also hold an unconditional academic offer to the LLM Criminal Justice & Penal Change, LLM Human Rights Law or LLM Mediation and Conflict Resolution. MSc Applied Gender Studies Community Bursary: This is a £700 fee reduction for applicants to the MSc Applied Gender. To be eligible for this award applicants must be working in a paid or voluntary role at one of Strathclyde's community partner organisations – Glasgow Women’s Library; Rape Crisis Scotland; Engender; Zero Tolerance; or SAY. Eligible applicants also need to hold unconditional academic offer to the MSc in Applied Gender Studies or MSc Applied Gender Studies (Research Methods) and be starting their studies in the UK by the start of the academic year in September 2021. Applicants planning to study the part-time MSc will receive a £350 fee discount in each year of study (maximum two years). Dean's International Excellence Award – Postgraduate Taught: Humanities and Social Sciences: This award offers all qualified international postgraduate students pursuing a masters degree a merit-based scholarship of £4,000 towards the first year of tuition fees of a full-time Masters, EdD Education or one year MRes in the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences. There are 70 scholarships available worth £4,000 each. Eligible applicants must have an offer of study for a full-time postgraduate Humanities and Social Sciences program at the University of Strathclyde and be starting their course in September/October 2021. Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences Alumni Scholarship: University of Strathclyde undergraduate alumni can receive a scholarship of 15% or 20% off full-time postgraduate tuition fees. There are 125 scholarships available and programs with fees up to £7,700 are entitled to a scholarship of 15% off full-time fees, programs with fees over £7,700 are entitled to a scholarship of 20% off full-time fees.
