University of London launches new online MSc in Data Science
The University of London has launched a new online MSc in Data Science – this innovative course can also be studied as a PGDip and a PGCert.
This online masters program has been created to help students become skilled data scientists, giving them the technical and practical skills to analyse big data, enabling them to succeed in business, digital media and science.
Program Director for the MSc in Data Science, Dr Larisa Soldatova, says, “We are excited to be offering a unique Data Science degree that is specifically designed to address the challenges of the present and future workplace. Data analytic techniques are evolving fast, new data is being produced at an unprecedented rate across the world and the tools we use to process it are becoming more intelligent. This program will equip you with the necessary skills to become a leading data science specialist in our modern society. You will gain the theoretical and computational skills needed to extract insights from data and to conduct data analysis in a wide range of applications.”
Students have the option to study one of the specialist pathways – Artificial Intelligence or Financial Technology.
