University of Kent launches new MA in Event and Experience Design
The University of Kent has launched a new creative masters program in Event and Experience designed to help develop skilled practitioners in the creative events industry.
Students on this exciting new creative course will explore media, visual arts, design communication and performance in a collaborative environment designed to reflect the professional world of design culture and event production. The teaching staff are experts in a wide variety of relevant fields including video mapping, interactive technology, spatial design, photography, audiovisual performance, brand identity and event design.
Speaking about the launch of the MA in Event and Experience Design, Program Director Peter Hatton says, “This is an exciting time, the demand for live experiential and participatory events is increasing.”
This new MA program is based at the University of Kent’s Medway campus and will give students the knowledge and skills necessary to meet the challenges of this rapidly changing and interdisciplinary field.
