University of Glasgow launches new dual international business program
Postgraduate business students at the University of Glasgow can now gain two degrees with a new international dual degree program designed to enable business students to gain a Euro-Asian MBA/MSc.
This new two year postgraduate course will start in September 2018, and is being offered by University of Glasgow Adam Smith Business School and Universiti Sains Malaysia (USM) Graduate School of Business (GSB).
The Euro-Asian MBA/MSc will see students study for a year at the USM Graduate School of Business, followed by a year studying at the University of Glasgow. Once two years of study is complete the students will receive an MBA from USM, and an MSc from the University of Glasgow.
The purpose of this dual degree is to train a new generation of business leaders that understand the challenges of working in a global environment, as well as to recognise the importance of the sustainability of that environment.
The dual-degree program was recently launched by Vice Principal Professor Frank Coton from the University of Glasgow and Vice-Chancellor Datuk Professor Dr Asma from USM.
The College of Social Sciences at the University of Glasgow is also awarding £150,000 of scholarships to Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN) students to study this program.
