Swansea welcomes first cohort of MA Sports Ethics and Integrity (MAiSI) students
Swansea University has welcomed its first cohort of Erasmus Mundus students onto the MA Sports Ethics and Integrity (MAiSI) program.
The program, one of the first of its kind in the world, will prepare students for their future careers in sports administration and governance, focusing specifically on ethical sports, integrity and compliance. Students will have the opportunity to undertake placements with industry relevant partners, organisations and policy makers.
Developed in response to a growing need to establish sports ethics and integrity as a professional practice, the program focuses on global sports governance; equity, diversity and inclusion (especially age and disability issues); illegal and irregular gambling; match-fixing and sport manipulation; legislation and codes of conduct; and equality and anti-discrimination (class, race, ethnicity, religion and gender issues).
