Swansea to receive £1.3 million in EPSRC funding to support PhD studentships
Swansea University will receive £1.3 million in funding from the Engineering & Physical Sciences Research Council (EPSRC) to support further training and development.
The funding will provide a total of 36 scholarships for new PhD students at Swansea, and will further enhance the research being undertaken by the University in the areas of Engineering, Science and Medicine.
Swansea is one of only two universities in Wales and one of 41 UK universities that will share the £184million total EPSRC funding to support doctoral training over a four-year period.
