Staffordshire UniversityThe brand-new Cyber lab at Staffordshire University is equipped with the latest hardware and specialised software including Encase and XRY to give students the technical skills required for a fulfilling career in the rapidly growing IT industry.

With five Computer Science MSc courses to choose from, at Staffordshire University you will be able to transform the skills you have developed in your undergraduate degree and put them to use in the specialised computer science disciplines. 

Computer Science at Staffordshire University also offers the following benefits:

1. You’ll be able to use the latest virtualisation software from VMware to create virtual cyber security labs.
2. They offer industry training and certifications with XRY and Ethical Hacking with reduced cost.
3. You’ll be trained using official materials, will get an exam voucher and will have access to vendor labs/materials (Ethical Hacking CEH certification). 

The Head of Computing at Staffordshire University, Dr Russell Campion, says, ‘’Our aim is to provide Computer Science courses that deliver technologies meeting both student and employer expectation, achieving this by working with the big players in industry.” 

The Computer Science courses available are available with a January 2020 or September 2020 start date and include:

MSc Computer Science
MSc Computer Science (Business Computing)
MSc Computer Science (Computer Networks and Security)
MSc Computer Science (Cyber Security)
MSc Computer Science (Software Engineering)

They can also be studied via distance learning.
