Staffordshire achieves best-ever position in Guardian University League Tables
Staffordshire University has climbed seven places in the latest Guardian University League Tables – reaching its best-ever position in these prestigious rankings.
The university is now ranked in 37th place in the UK, a position that includes a first place ranking for social policy and administration, third place for fashion and textiles, fifth for journalism and PR, and eighth for film production and photography.
Staffordshire University has also been ranked third nationally for quality of feedback and assessment given by final year students in the National Student Survey – a key indicator of the quality of teaching and learning.
Vice-Chancellor Professor Liz Barnes comments, “The University has made great strides in the last two years investing in the student experience, which is having a positive impact on student satisfaction and performance. We have also improved our teaching and student employability, with colleagues from across the University committed to giving of their best, working with employers, and providing our diverse student community with opportunities that can transform their futures.”
This exciting news follows on from the recent Complete University Guide rankings where Staffordshire University achieved a ranking of eight nationally for student satisfaction and 58th overall.
