Manchester Metropolitan wins award for international student campaign
Manchester Metropolitan University’s ‘This is Manchester’ campaign offers international students the opportunity to produce videos showcasing the University and Manchester. Through This is Manchester, students who are interested in studying in the UK can discover different aspects of student life from Sport, Food and Shopping to Culture, Studying and Social Life. By watching the This is Manchester videos, students can learn more about the international experience at Manchester Met.
This is Manchester demonstrates that Manchester is the UK's best city to live in*, by giving an exciting and engaging insight into what it is like to study at Manchester Met as an international student. If you are interested in Sport there are a variety of activities at Manchester Met as part of our Active Campus program, including free sports and exercise classes for students. Culturally, Manchester has a lot to offer international students, including more than 75 museums, galleries, theatres and exhibitions, as well as Chinatown, which is the second largest in the UK. The Studying category includes many videos taken on campus so students can experience where they will be studying and discover the School of Art degree show, University library and watch biomedical experiments in the science labs.
This is Manchester won Edurank’s ‘Best Use of User-Generated Content’ 2019 award and was judged by a student panel. Not only did Manchester Met win this award, but also they were shortlisted for the ‘Best Campaign Promoting International Study’ award. Interested in studying in the UK?
