MPs and business leaders to attend KBS major conference
MPs from across Kent in the UK will be attending the Kent Business Summit at the University of Kent on Friday 12th January 2018. This event will see the region comes together to discuss the challenges and opportunities that will be faced as Britain prepares to leave the European Union.
The University of Kent Vice-Chancellor and President, Professor Karen Cox, says, “Bringing businesses, public sector organisations and academia together to share ideas, knowledge and opinions during the Brexit process and beyond will provide us with a great opportunity to prepare for the future. The University of Kent is proud to host such an event.”
The Kent Business Summit: Shaping Kent’s Future in a Global Economy has been organised by Kent Business School, together with the Federation of Small Businesses and the Institute of Directors. It is the first event to take place as part of the University of Kent’s new research institute, Project UK, and representatives from leading Kent businesses, the public sector and academics will also be present.
