Kent Business School to host annual Kent Business Summit
Kent Business School is hosting the Kent Business Summit 2020, which will be held at the Sibson Building at the University of Kent (Canterbury campus) on Friday 10th January 2020, from 9am-4.30pm.
This is the third Kent Business Summit and it will welcome over 400 Kent business leaders, local government officials, important local decision-makers and academic experts, who will all come together to discuss regional challenges and how to promote the county of Kent.
The Kent Business Summit 2020 will focus on four key areas – Transport infrastructure; Placemaking for Kent; Productivity; and Skills development – via presentations from high-profile speakers, as well as engaging workshops led by academic experts, government officials and industry heads.
Speakers include Phil Eckersley from the Bank of England, Professor Jagjit Chadha, Director of National Institute of Economic and Social Research, writer Benita Matofska, and Professor Anand Menon from Research Institute UK.
