EU Business School enters human rights partnership with Geneva Centre
EU Business School has signed a memorandum of understanding with the Geneva Centre for Human Rights Advancement and Global Dialogue to promote human rights in the Arab region.
This MoU demonstrates these leading organisations’ joint interest in improving human rights through research and advanced educational programs. It was signed by the Geneva Centre’s Executive Director and Ambassador, Mr Idriss Jazairy, and EU Business School’s Vice-President and Managing Director, Mr Luc Craen.
Speaking about this new partnership, M Jazairy explains, “The Geneva Centre’s partnership with EU Business School marks a new beginning in the Centre’s relations with leading educational institutes worldwide. We are currently also in the process of signing a similar MoU with the world-renowned Oxford Centre for Islamic Studies of Oxford University. The Geneva Centre strongly believes in collaborating with academic institutions such as EU Business School, so as to raise awareness on human rights issues in the Arab region and to enhance global dialogue between stakeholders from the Global North and Global South. This agreement marks the beginning of this chapter.”
Meanwhile Mr Craen, enthuses, “EU Business School is very excited to sign this partnership with the Geneva Centre. As a business school, we fully embrace the need to foster human and intercultural dialogue. When we look at the world today, we realise we share a common mission. We are therefore proud to be associated with the Geneva Centre, which has played a major role in this regard.”
This MoU sees both organisations pledge to work closely together to promote human rights in the Arab region through the development and execution of advanced educational programs.
