West DeanWest Dean School of Arts is holding its Summer Show between 10am– 5pm from Saturday 6th July to Friday 12th July 12, 2019, with a preview on Friday 5th July 2019, between 5-8pm.

West Dean Summer ShowThis event will give attendees the chance to see original work by emerging artists studying for Graduate Diploma in Visual Arts and Master of Arts (MFA). Students will be exhibiting a diverse range of practices including sculpture, installation, print, painting, video, ceramics, and textiles.

Alison Baxter, Head of School of Arts, comments, “West Dean College of Arts and Conservation is renowned for its Arts programs, with graduates going on to exhibit internationally. The department’s ethos of encouraging diverse interdisciplinary practice, together with its support of specialist subjects, attracts students interested in radical approaches to art and those with a strong emphasis on studio practice and making. Exceptionally large studios, excellent facilities, and an outstanding student/staff ratio ensure students are supported to challenge themselves and push the boundaries of contemporary fine art practice.”

Location: West Dean College of Arts and Conservation (use Gardens entrance), nr Chichester, West Sussex.
