Summary

A well-balanced blend of theory and practice, which prepares you for work as a project manager in the construction industry

Project managers are responsible for controlling and coordinating the development process from concept through to construction and are in high demand across a number of industries.

Normally students will take three years to complete the programme if they undertake one module per week but the length of the course can be reduced to two years, if two modules are taken each week. Many part-time students undertake projects in their place of work. You will gain an industry-recognised qualification as the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS) and the Institution of Civil Engineers (ICE) accredit this course. Combined with a suitable BEng accredited undergraduate degree, the course will then satisfy the academic requirements of the UK Engineering Council for Chartered Engineer (CEng) status.
