The School
We offer comprehensive academic coverage across the chemical sciences and in all the core sub-disciplines of chemistry. We have research links with over 80 different companies and over 150 overseas universities and research institutes.

We’re a major partner in the Manchester Institute of Biotechnology, which is specifically designed to accommodate an interdisciplinary research community derived from the biosciences, the physical sciences, engineering and mathematics, with the aim of becoming a powerhouse of innovative research and technology development at the interface with biology.
