Postgraduate taught degrees
Our diverse portfolio of Masters programmes highlight the school's expertise in the areas adult education, community engagement, language and literacies, professional studies in teaching and education, and educational policy and leadership. Degrees offered include

We have a long tradition of preparing primary and secondary teachers and educators who are respected for their capabilities and initiative. When you undertake one of our teaching degrees, you will have the General Teaching Council (GTC) for Scotland qualification to pursue teaching careers in schools. Many of our graduates are teaching not only in Scotland’s primary and secondary schools, but throughout the UK and further abroad. We also offer specialist qualifications for Scottish teachers in educational policy and leadership.

Erasmus Mundus Joint Master Degrees
Our two year Erasmus Mundus Joint Master Degrees (EMJMD) allow you to gain an international student experience by studying with the University of Glasgow and its consortium partners across Europe and further afield. Prestigious Erasmus Mundus scholarships are available for well-qualified applicants.

We also offer distance learning programmes across an ever-expanding range of specialist areas, including an online masters with range of pathways. Online learning allows you to benefit from the outstanding educational experience that we are renowned for - without having to relocate to our campus.
