Master’s courses

Postgraduate research degrees

We also offer MPhil and PhD Degrees. We view researchers who study with us as junior staff members. Bring your ideas and work with our academic supervisors on existing or new areas of their research. You can develop your research proposal or apply for a pre-defined research project. We have funded and self-funded PhD project opportunities available all year round.

Location

The University of Bath is a campus university, so many of the facilities you need are in one place. A 24-hour library, food shops and cafes, a Post Office, and sports facilities are all within a short walk.

Our campus overlooks the historic city of Bath, with a regular bus service running into the centre. This UNESCO World Heritage site, famous for its Roman Baths and Georgian architecture - think Bridgerton and Jane Austen - is just over a mile away.
