Summary
This course will prepare you for a successful career in biomedical technology. It has been developed by our strong and successful biomedical engineering research academics and builds on the strength of our research, our interdisciplinary setting and our industrial and clinical collaborations. The course also features industry-based projects that can provide you with employment opportunities.
This course is for you if you are interested in the application of technology in novel diagnostic and therapeutic applications for revolutionising biomedical science and modernising healthcare.
The programme is designed for new graduates and professionals with an engineering background who want to significantly advance their understanding of the field or are interested in either developing a medical device or in learning how to handle biomedical data or both.
The course will also help you acquire an in-depth understanding of the fundamentals as well as advanced aspects of practical skills, technologies and methods and an appreciation of the latest developments in the biomedical engineering sector.
