This course is the last stage in formal academic training and practical, work-based learning for architects. It is designed and structured to lay the foundation for 'life-long learning' in the architectural profession, and its primary purpose is to enable students to show competence in practice.

Part 1 and part 2 qualifications prescribed by the Architects Registration Board (ARB) or graduates of courses recognised for exemption from the RIBA part 1 and part 2 examination (graduates of part 1 and 2 courses not prescribed by the ARB will not automatically be eligible for entry to the UK Register of Architects on completion of the course). Interview and individual portfolio of work.
We assess through coursework, role-play and documentary submission, and in the Professional Interview. The coursework constitutes distance-learning exercises that relate to the block courses. The documentary submission includes the Record of Professional Experience, a career evaluation and a case study, and contributes to the assessment in the Professional Experience module.
