Our MSc Biosciences for Industry programme aims to provide you with key scientific and engineering knowledge that is fundamental in the growing UK Biotechnology industry.
Throughout the course, you'll develop an understanding of recent scientific and technological developments, and learn how to use this knowledge in industrial applications. You will also develop a practical skill set for further research and learning, such as PhD studies.
Learning on this course is made up of a range of hands-on practical classes, as well as lectures, seminars and tutorials delivered by our expert staff from a range of bioscience backgrounds. The course will culminate with substantial research project, where you will further develop your research skills while exploring a specialist area of biosciences.

Lower second class honours degree (2:2) or above, with a minimum overall average of (55%), or equivalent overseas degree recognised by Aston University, in a biological, biochemistry, biotechnology or engineering based subject, or a related field.
Applicants whose first language is not English will be required to provide evidence of an English language qualification.
