Summary
Overview Get qualified as a teacher while you teach on this apprenticeship scheme. Developed with local council support, this course offers a direct route to qualified teacher status for teachers in Portsmouth, Hampshire and West Sussex.
You can follow an apprenticeship to become a teacher of Modern Foreign Languages, Maths, English, Geography, Computer Science, Physics, Chemistry, or Biology. You'll need to have an unqualified teacher role in a Secondary school, or an offer of one, for the duration of your apprenticeship.
Recognition Successful completion of this course will lead to Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)

A minimum of 2:1 is desirable although applicants with other qualifications or valuable experience will also be considered. All shortlisted applicants are subject to interview.
