MA Acting is an innovative programme for early and mid-career actors culminating in Solo Showcase supported by Theatre Royal Plymouth. Develop your digital promotion strategy and profile, enhance your creative and professional networks and hone your craft with expert professionals in award-winning facilities.
This programme is delivered through Plymouth Conservatoire - a unique collaboration between the University and Theatre Royal Plymouth, providing training and professional experience that will set talented students apart in today’s arts and creative industries.

Entry requirements | You’ll need a 2:1 honours degree. For non-standard applications relevant professional experience will be assessed on an individual basis. Our audition process is inclusive and accessible, and completely free. Applicants should submit a ‘showreel’ (all common media file formats are acceptable) comprising footage of two pre-selected audition pieces (max. 3 minutes each) and a personal statement (max 2 minutes). Up to 10 minutes additional showreel material can be included professional projects. If English is not your first language, you must have proficiency in written and spoken English (normally a minimum IELTS score of 6.5 overall with 5.5. in all components, or equivalent). |
