Wales has a strong tradition of higher education, and in the last two years alone Welsh universities have launched 100 new courses and attracted over £900m of research funding.

A good example of one of the new generation of courses that is fuelling the growth in International students is the MA Psychology at Bangor University. Offered by one of the top seven departments in UK psychology (based on the most recent RAE results), this course is designed to offer advanced study in psychology with an emphasis on both research excellence and critical writing skills.
