The Institute of Advanced Telecommunications (IAT) at Swansea University has announced new funding opportunities for international students wishing to study any Masters course in 2008/2009.
Students meeting the criteria will be eligible for £1,000 bursary payable towards tuition fees and a maximum refund of £100 of their visa fees. There are a limited number of tuition fee bursaries available, and students are advised to apply early and before the cut-off date of 20 July 2008.
Dr Karin Ennser, Head of Teaching at IAT, said: 'We hope the funding opportunities we have available this year attract the very best of international students. IAT has a truly international student base and would like to attract even more to the range of courses we have available for 2008/09. Swansea University on the whole has an unrivalled reputation for having such a mix of students due to its international reputation for being a friendly and attractive city. IAT’s bursaries will attract students to come and experience that for themselves.'
Details of the funding can be found on the Swansea University website. For further information, email iatadmissions@swansea.ac.uk or call +44 (0) 1792 602749.
