Why study this course? Preparing you for the new Solicitors Qualifying Examination (SQE), this course replaces the postgraduate diploma in Legal Practice (commonly referred to as the LPC) as the new route for becoming a solicitor.
Designed for law graduates looking to practise law, you’ll gain the additional skills, knowledge and essential preparation in order to complete the SQE Part One examination.
More about this course This postgraduate certificate in Professional Legal Practice prepares you to take the first part of the new Solicitors Qualifying Examination (SQE), which replaces the Legal Practice Course (LPC) route to practising law.

Providing you with the functioning legal knowledge subjects as set by the Solicitors Regulation Authority, this course will prepare you to take the first exam of the two SQE assessments.
You’ll gain a comprehensive understanding and in-depth knowledge of various legal issues, so that you’re confidently able to analyse complex problems and make informed decisions to resolve them.
