The University Quarter
Portsmouth is located close to the A3, M27 and M3, it has good rail links to other major cities, including London, which is just an hour and half away by train. 

The University is right in the heart of a rapidly changing, thriving city, with a modern diverse campus. Wherever you are you’ll find it’s only a few minutes walk to the lively waterfront and beach, making it a great place to live and study. 

International students are guaranteed University accommodation for the first year of study. Student accommodation features broadband internet, internet telephony and cable TV. 

The Portsmouth Business School is one of the most successful in Southern England with an impressive reputation for research and academic excellence. 

The Portsmouth Business School is rated in the top 20 UK business schools for research. It has two centres for excellence in Human Resource Management and has an ESRC recognised doctoral research methods programme. The two successful MBA programmes offered by the School are AMBA accredited. 

The Faculty of Technology offers a wide range of postgraduate programmes in the fields of the Built Environment, Computing, Electronic Communication Systems and Networks, Engineering and Environment and Heritage. The Faculty also provides the innovative Learning at Work Masters programme. 

The Faculty of Creative and Cultural Industries. The University is at the heart of the booming creative and cultural industries in the South of England, which itself is one of most successful and dynamic regional economies in the world. The Faculty incorporates the creativity and expertise of the following Schools and Departments; Architecture, Art, Design and Media, Film and Media, Creative Technologies, the Centre for Enterprise and the Institute of Industrial Research. 

The Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences incorporates the Institute of Criminal Justice Studies, the School of Education and Continuing Studies, the School of Languages and Area Studies and the School of Social, Historical and Literary Studies. 

The Faculty of Science offers programmes in Geography, Geology and Earth Sciences, Healthcare, Social Work and Medical Sciences, Psychology and Sports Science.
