Wageningen alumni thrive despite recession
Former students of Wageningen University in the Netherlands are still being successful in the job market despite the recession.
Research has found that the position of Wageningen alumni on the labour market seems to be stable, and a job or a PhD position is found as quickly as before. This is confirmed by KLV Professional Match (an employment agency for alumni), Jobspider (a job search engine) and a MSc graduate survey for 2008/09.
The survey shows that 61% of Wageningen University students find a job before their graduation ceremony: 32% are employed by a university; 11% by a multinational, 10% by a consultancy company and 10% by government.
