Deciding to study for a PhD is an important decision and this open day has been devised to help you find out what studying for a PhD involves and the opportunities available in the School of Biological Sciences at the University of Southampton. This is a chance to visit the School of Biological Sciences, see presentations on current research across the School and meet with academics and current PhD students.
This event is ideal for anyone interested in postgraduate research in biochemistry, cellular and molecular biology, ecology, environmental science, neurosciences, biomedical sciences, plant science, electronics and computer science. The School recruits students from a range of scientific disciplines and those studying for degrees in chemistry, environmental science, oceanography and medicine are also encouraged to attend.
