This course combines training in the skills of applied economics and marketing with an opportunity to apply them to a wide range of contemporary farm, food and rural issues in both developed and developing country contexts; applicants to this course require an intermediate knowledge of micro-economics, but strong applicants with little or no prior training in economics may be admitted provided they attend the pre-sessional 1-month course in economics organised by the Graduate Institute in September.
