University of Derby has flexible postgrad courses available at its School of Technology

The University of Derby has seven flexible postgrad courses available at its School of Technology which can be started in January or September 2011.

The University of Derby has been working with local, regional and international organisations to develop these new flexible masters degrees. They are designed to provide advanced technical skills for companies to improve their competitive advantage. 

The University of Derby has designed the postgraduate programmes to allow professional staff to study for higher level qualifications, without learning overly disrupting their working lives. This is done through flexible study programmes and online and condensed learning for selected modules. 

Seven postgraduate courses have been developed in the School of Technology and students can start in January 2011 or September 2011:

•    MSc Mechanical and Manufacturing Engineering
•    MSc Sustainable Architecture and Healthy Buildings
•    MSc Civil Engineering and Construction
•    MSc Construction Project Management
•    MA Music Production.
•    MSc Sustainable Design and Innovation (part-time only for January)
•    MSc Control and Instrumentation
