UEA launches MA Cultural Heritage and Museum Studies for those with an interest in Japan

The University of East Anglia is now offering an MA Cultural Heritage and Museum Studies for students with a special interest in Japan. This new course is taught by experts on cultural heritage, museum professionals and scholars with specialist knowledge of cultural heritage in Japan. It combines the expertise of the School of World Art Studies and Museology and the Sainsbury Institute for the Study of Japanese Arts and Cultures (SISJAC).

Students will be taught a variety of modules, both theoretical and practical. They will also be given the opportunity to do an internship in a heritage institution in the United Kingdom or anywhere else in the world. Such vocational training will equip students for work in the cultural sector.
