UEA has MSc in Brand Leadership

The University of East Anglia has launched the MSc Brand Leadership which is a unique collaboration between senior industry professionals and the business experts at Norwich Business School at the university.

This is the world's first programme in brand leadership, and is a one-year course. The course is led by Robert Jones, author of The Big Idea and head of new thinking at Wolff Olins - one of the world' most influential brand consultancies. This is the firm responsible for Orange, Tate and Unilever.

Robert Jones says, 'The world needs people who understand branding, who can build world-leading brands, who can use branding to help lead organisations, and who can lead branding consultancies.'

The MSc Brand Leadership, launched last year, is currently recruiting for its second year of intake for the programme which is due to start in September 2010. It is designed for people who want to be brand leaders. They may be a recent graduate in business or economics, or have three or more years experience in marketing or strategy work. The programme is designed to give students the key concepts, tools and techniques needed to be a brand leader. It includes a month's work experience at a big brand or in a top branding consultancy, and a personal mentor who is a senior branding professional.

The University of East Anglia is holding an open evening on Monday 26th April at 6pm for anyone interested in the MSc brand leadership. The event will take place at the Thomas Paine Study Centre, UEA. For full details click here
