The University of Kent is offering psychology studentships
Applications for PhD studentships for the academic year 2010-11 are on offer at the School of Psychology at the University of Kent.
The research studentships initially cover one year’s tuition fee at the Home/EU rate, renewable for the next two years subject to satisfactory academic performance. Non-EU applicants are also welcome to apply but would be required to pay the difference in overseas tuition fees. Teaching experience is part of the studentship.
Applications should come from students with a good academic background (top two grade categories), and interested students should email potential supervisors before submitting a full application. Click here for an outline of the research interests of the staff. It is an advantage for the applicant to have a Master's degree in psychology by September 2010, but other applicants will also be considered.
Once a project proposal has been agreed to by the potential supervisor, an online application can be made. Additionally, you should send an email to psypgadmissions@kent.ac.uk under the heading "School/University scholarship application" with the following attachments. In it, please ensure that you identify one or more potential supervisors:
· A covering letter stating your qualifications and why you should be awarded the scholarship.
· A current curriculum vitae.
The deadline for receipt of applications is Friday 26th February 2010.
