The University of Buckingham has received an anonymous donation of £1m
The University of Buckingham has received an anonymous donation of £1m which is to be spent on refurbishing the interior of Prebend House.
This donation has helped to get the University of Buckingham's 35th Anniversary Campaign off the ground, and it means that Prebend House can be refurbished within the next year.
Once it is refurbished Prebend House will become a research centre, housing the Max Beloff Centre for the Study of Liberty under Professor Martin Ricketts.
The University of Buckingham is now fundraising for the remaining £4m to build up the Beloff Centre into a centre for research into classical liberalism.
