The IOE goes global

IOE logoThe Institute of Education, University of London (IOE) is taking its ideas and research around the world.

Our recently inaugurated international lecture series, ‘Leading the Global Education Debate’, made stops in Japan, Taiwan, Korea and Brazil in autumn 2009. If you couldn’t be there, check out some pictures and video instead!

Perhaps we’ll be visiting your country next?

Touring the Middle East
In January 2010, the lecture series continues in the Gulf States. Professor Peter Earley will lecture on leadership in Bahrain (11–15 January), the UAE (16–18 January) and Kuwait (19–22 January). Following that, Saudi Arabia will host Dr Raphael Wilkins’ leadership masterclasses and Professor Gunther Kress’ lectures on communications from 23–30 January.

Touring mainland China
In March the IOE will tour mainland China, visiting Beijing, Chongqing, Shanghai, Qingdao and Guangzhou.

About the lecture series
All sessions are free of charge and focused on debate and engagement. We aim to present our perspectives and listen and learn from our audience.

The tour continues in the USA and Canada during late summer 2010.
