The IOE celebrates growing links with China

IOE logoThe Institute of Education (IOE), University of London has recently celebrated meeting record numbers of students on a three-week tour of mainland China.

Five-city tour of China
Three professors delivered 13 separate public lectures at universities across the country to audiences of over 1,200 students. The Institute was also present at British Council exhibitions in five cities (Beijing, Shanghai, Chongqing, Qingdao and Guangzhou), where hundreds of potential students sought information on the IOE’s unrivalled range of Masters and Doctoral programmes.

Major international conference
Against this backdrop, the IOE continues to prepare to host the forthcoming international conference ‘Education and Citizenship in a Globalising World’ alongside its partner, Beijing Normal University.

The conference will attract students, academics and practitioners from around the world. It takes place in London on 19–20 November, with major discounts for student registrations. The call for papers closes on 15 May.
