The College of Estate Management and Legal & General Property launch new sustainability course

The College of Estate Management logoThe College of Estate Management (CEM) and Legal and General Property (LGP) have worked together to create a bespoke training programme tailored to target the serious issues of sustainability. The course will explore the effect sustainability is having on the value of existing commercial investment portfolio stock and topics include; managing risk, Energy Performance Certificates, the physical effects of climate change, sustainability in building design, renewable energy, pollution and contaminated land, green leases, and the global take-up of sustainability. 

The course will be delivered online over a 15-week period, with an optional masterclass being held at the end of the course. This will allow users to access material at a time convenient to them and to study without interruption to their day-to-day employment.

Course dates
The course will be available in a web-based distance-learning format from 22 September 2008 for individuals, as well as a private in-house programme for public and private sector organisations.

Course fees
£750 + VAT for the online course

£500 + VAT for the optional masterclass
(Please note: The online course is a prerequisite to the masterclass.)
