- At Teesside University we care about the wellbeing of our students. The Student Centre is Matrix accredited and offers general student support, and international student support on visa and immigration requirements, financial advice and healthcare support.
Fantastic facilities
We have some fantastic new buildings – we’ve spent £120m to make sure our facilities are first class. Our library offers a fantastic range of online and offline research and multimedia capability, housed in a light and spacious building. The International Student Barometer has rated our library as second highest in the UK in 2008.
We have a vibrant graduate research school and our research is relevant to current and future issues. Our research often forms enterprise and innovation such as our Digital Innovation project, linked to the Digital City cluster in the heart of Middlesbrough.
For sports and wellbeing, we have a fitness studio, sports hall, sauna, a £6.5 million sports complex, and a 60-acre sports ground. Within the area we have world-class outdoor activities in our national parks which enjoyed by tourists worldwide.
