Postgraduate facilities

Our Library and Information Centre provides access to an extensive collection of research materials, dedicated postgraduate study and IT areas, and specialist teams of subject librarians to help postgraduate students at all stages of their research.
Links with industry
Boasting a 91% graduate employment rate, Swansea has a proven track record of offering vocationally relevant programmes which give students the knowledge and skills employers demand. Our students have the opportunity to carry out industry-linked research projects and undertake work placements, and our Careers Service can help postgraduate students develop their skills.
As well as access to world-class facilities, postgraduates at Swansea benefit from the University’s strong links with industry and research organisations. Recent research partners have included Microsoft, Cancer Research UK and IBM – the latter a partner in the University’s £50 million Institute of Life Science, home to one of Europe’s most powerful supercomputers.
