Scholarships and studentships available for October 2010 entry at Southampton
The School of Social Sciences at the University of Southampton is pleased to announce a broad range of postgraduate scholarships and studentships for full-time students beginning in October 2010. The awards are available for Masters (MSc) and Doctoral (PhD) study across the social sciences in areas including: demography, economics, gerontology, global politics, social policy, sociology and statistics.
Research in the School of Social Sciences was given excellent ratings in the 2008 Research Assessment Exercise (RAE). Across the School, more than 50% of the research was judged to be either internationally excellent (3*) or world-leading (4*).
The closing date for applicants is Friday 5th March.
