Chris Sfetsios
MA Animation Futures
“I’m studying animation full-time and have also starting teaching the subject – it’s my passion. I really enjoy discovering new areas and developing my skills. I am exploring new disciplines such as augmented reality and physical sculpture.
The course is about cross-collaboration: it’s a very positive experience to learn from others and their areas of study.
I am working on a live project, won in a competition, to commemorate the involvement of the London Borough of Greenwich and Royal Artillery Barracks in the delivery of the shooting competition for the 2012 Olympics; it’s an ‘Olympic Memorial’ project, and is very exciting to be using my skills on something so unique.”

MA/MSc Interactive Digital Media
“I’d always wanted to study in London, for me it’s the capital of Europe, and I especially wanted to study a new media course. It was the alumni at Ravensbourne that made me chose Ravensbourne. I have been really happy both in terms of the people and what I have been studying.
The course is research based: my speciality is augmented reality (AR) and my dissertation was published in on online journal which has lead to many approaches to develop AR apps.
Ravensbourne also has a great reputation with the industry and my ambition is do study for a PhD in augmented reality.”
